If you’re looking for some new Math Centers for your little learners then this Making Ten Activity Flashcards are ideal for supporting children in ways to make ten. The cards are designed in a Candyland theme to support classroom decor in my store (should you wish to follow the theme) and to encourage little ones to engage in learning. They can be used in a versatile way as the students develop- simply matching the flashcards together to make ten by counting the objects on the pairs of cards, use to match then make simple addition equations to ten or make simple subtractions from 10. You could also use it as a memory game and simple step problem solving… ‘I have 3 , how many more do I need to make 10?’
This is a no prep activity, once it’s printed cut and laminate and it’s ready to be used over and over again. Use as math centers, interventions, challenge cards, support cards, homeschooling or enlarge for bulletin boards.
There are 5 A4 pages to download as a pdf, these are non editable, however, you could use printer settings to reduce the size should you wish learners to glue the cards into notebooks.

Support you little learners with their counting to ten and beyond with this valuable time saving resource consisting of a hundred square and ten display posters showing the numbers one to ten in digits, words and ten frame representations. Each one has been designed in a calming green colour, with cute jungle images and at a size of A4.
This would make a versatile resource for use in the classroom, at table centers, during whole class delivery and on your next math bulletin board. However, you choose to use it, children will find the posters engaging and supportive as they develop their knowledge and understanding of numbers to ten and beyond.
The hundred square is an added bonus as it will also assist youngsters with the majority of their number work and basic calculations of addition and subtraction. Print multiple copies and laminate them, children have proven to use them well with a dry wipe pen to help support their learning and making them available for regular and repetitive use.
The resources aren’t editable, you’ll simply download as a pdf, print , laminate and go!
With the new term happening soon, get your math centers ready for the unit of place value. This resource is versatile and can be used for counting to 120, ordering numbers, sequencing, identifying more than and less than using symbols, doubling and halving. It also offers the opportunity for simple addition and subtraction within 120. It’s great value for money!
To engage children, the resource consists of mini school buses with numbers 1-120, an A4 page with 3 simple road tracks and an activity suggestion page. Simply download your pack and laminate and you’re ready to go! The track has space for 4 buses to be placed along side each other or keep it A4 size with 3 tracks so little learners can order numbers 1-10, 10-20 etc.
This is a pdf download that offers versatility and can be used repeatedly, covering a range of number and place value skills within K- 1 (EYFS/Year1 UK).
Additionally, you can enlarge the resources on your photocopier to create a math bulletin board early on in the term that children will be able to refer to in order to support their learning.
I hope you have fun!
